NAWABSHAH: Water scheme

NAWABSHAH, Feb 4: The Sindh government had approved the Nawabshah water supply scheme phase-IV in 1994 and work on it started in January 1995, but due to shortage of funds it is still incomplete.

This was said by the DCO, Nawabshah, Abdul Qadir Mangi, at a press briefing about the scheme, held at the Rohri Canal here on Tuesday.

He said that the funds were recently released and work was underway on the scheme, which was expected to start functioning partially in March. He said that the scheme would supply 2.9 million gallon water every day.
