British MPs visit border villages

SIALKOT, Jan 31: A delegation of British parliamentarians visited on Friday border villages in Sialkot and Narowal sectors hit by Indian shelling.

Led by Qasim Afzal, the delegation included Ben Jephcot, Miss Dr Jenny Tonge and Miss Patsy Calton. They were of the view that peace in south Asia was not possible without solving Kashmir issue.

Divisional coordinator of international human rights observers Naeem Ahmad urged the delegation to force India stop state terrorism, large scale human rights violations and genocide of Kashmiris and give them the right to self-determination according to UN resolutions. — Correspondent
