Audio-visual room at Quaid’s mausoleum opened

KARACHI, March 23: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad on Saturday inaugurated an audio-visual room and the Quaid’s pictorial gallery at the mausoleum of the Quaid-i-Azam.

Federal secretary for national heritage and integration Asaf Ghafoor highlighted the various features of the audio-visual room.

A rare video of transfer of power from the British government to the Pakistani government was shown in the audio-visual room to the governor.

The governor appreciated the video and stressed that the video was digitalised and added that historical objects of the Quaid-i-Azam present in the Governor House might also be utilised in this connection.

The governor also appreciated the efforts of the federal secretary and the resident engineer of the Quaid-i-Azam Mazar Management Board, Mohammad Arif, for establishing the audio-visual room.

Earlier, the Sindh governor along with the caretaker chief minister of Sindh laid wreaths and offered Fateha at the Mazar-i-Quaid to pay tribute to the great leader on Pakistan Day.—APP
