ISLAMABAD, March 5: The capital police have arrested six outlaws for their alleged involvement in auto-thefts and possessing illegal weapons, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.

He said the Sihala police apprehended four criminals and recovered two snatched mobile phones as well as cash, and a 32-bore pistol from their possession.

The arrestees have confessed to their involvement in several incidents of street crime. Police have obtained physical remand of the accused and are interrogating them.—Staff Reporter
