Damaging vitamin-A derivative?

I HAVE been told that some dermatologists are freely prescribing vitamin A derivative (Isotretinoin) to young fertile women without telling them its teratogine (growth retardation of fetus) and hepatotoxic effects.

My question to doctors is: if you cannot prescribe this medicine to your daughter, how come you advise others without preliminary tests and consent?

Should we conclude that it is to get benefit from drug companies of B category? Doctors are the most educated class of our country. It is not expected of them to behave like quacks. Please think over it.
