Woman strangulated, man shot dead

KOHAT, Jan 20: A young man was shot dead, while a woman was strangulated in separate incidents here on Monday.

Ghulam Sadiq, husband of Zafran Bibi, reported to the police that when he returned from his duty early morning he found the door of his house open.

When he went inside he saw Zafran Bibi lying dead on her bed with a piece of rope tied around her neck. He told the Saddar police that he had no enmity with anyone.

He informed the police that he had married Zafran Bibi, resident of Sumari Payan 14 years ago when her first husband died in an accident. Zafran had two daughters from her first husband

Unknown gunmen killed Amir Mohammad, 32, in the KDA township. A case has been registered by the Jangle Khel police.—Correspondent
