Rs6.5m plundered in three strikes

LAHORE, Feb 9: Robbers looted cash and valuables worth Rs6.5 million in three hits in the city on Saturday.

Two robbers entered the Chand Jewellers in Makka Colony in Naseerabad police limits, looted cash and gold ornaments worth Rs3.4 million and fled.

The owner told police that suspects broke all showcases and plundered 50 tolas of gold and Rs400,000 in cash.

Three robbers barged into the house of Mirza Hafeezur Rehman in Valencia Town in Kahna police limits and escaped after gathering cash and valuables worth Rs3.1 million.

Two robbers entered a shop on Khokhar Road in Badami Bagh police jurisdiction and snatched Rs50,000 in cash and a cell phone.

Two robbers snatched Rs22,000 in cash from shopkeeper Basit on Main Road in Sandah police limits.
