KARACHI, Feb 2: A federal minister and former chief minister of Balochistan, Jam Mohammad Yousuf, died of heart attack in Islamabad late on Saturday night. He was 59.

According to state-run PTV, he suffered a heart attack just before midnight.

He was taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medi-cal Sciences (PIMS) by his staff.

A PIMS doctor told PTV that Mr Yousuf died on way to the hospital.

Mr Yousuf was federal minister for privatisation and had been elected member of the National Assembly from Lasbela, Balochistan.—Dawn Monitor
