The national carrier, despite the management’s oft-repeated claims of enhancement and restructuring, continues to report exorbitant deficits.

The fact that PIA staffers explicitly declared this particular event as a ‘minor incident’ is tragic. Iincidents involving aircraft engine failures are anything but a ‘minor event’.
