LAHORE, Nov 26: In a surprise raid on late Monday night, a team of the City District Administration sealed a drug factory for allegedly manufacturing various spurious life-saving herbal and allopathic medicines at Sheraz Park locality in Shahdara.

Reports said the team led by District Coordination Officer Noorul Amin Mengal and comprising a drug inspector and some other officials concerned raided the factory after getting information in this regard.

The team confiscated a stock of medicines and took their samples for getting these tested in a drug testing laboratory.

However, owners and some workers managed their escape before the raid. After getting the factory sealed, the team directed the police to ensure the arrest of accused owners.
