ISLAMABAD, Nov 18: The Sabzi Mandi police on Sunday arrested 20 suspects and impounded 25 motorbikes, a police spokesman said.

He said special checking was conducted in the Sabzi Mandi area on the directions of SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq.

Inspector General of Police Bani Amin said the objective of the search exercise was to ensure foolproof security in the capital.

He directed all police stations to maintain vigilance and conduct checking.

The IGP also directed the police officials to enhance patrolling in their respective areas and use all resources to curb activities of anti-social elements.—APP
