Four killed in Afghan firing

RAWALPINDI, Nov 11: Four Pakistani civilians, among them two children, were killed when Afghan National Army troops fired mortar shells from K.K. Top in north of Niz Narai area on Sunday evening, military sources said.

The ANA troops fired three 122mm mortar rounds which hit a vehicle carrying a group of civilians who were returning from thearea after collecting firewood.

Pakistan has lodged strong protest with the Afghan government over the incident.—APP
