Enmity claims four lives in Warah

LARKANA, Nov 3: An enmity between two groups claimed four lives in Warah town of Qambar-Shahdadkot district on Saturday.

Fahad Cholyani, a shepherd, was shot dead in the fields near Gul Buriro village. When relatives learnt about the murder, they attacked a computer shop in Brohi mohalla of Warah town and shot dead Saifullah Cholyani, 22, and his uncle Deedar Cholyani, 28.

Panic gripped the town and shopkeepers shut their businesses.

Another man, Hussain Ali Cholyani, 30, was then pulled off a rickshaw near Gul Buriro and murdered.

Police took the bodies to hospital and handed them over to relatives after autopsy.

According to sources, the two groups of Cholyani clan have been involved in an enmity triggered by a ‘karo-kari’ incident five years ago. The enmity has claimed 13 lives.

According to sources, police picked up one Sajjad Cholyani on suspicion of having murdered Fahad.
