ISLAMABAD, Oct 24: The official car of Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik’s was lifted from Jinnah Super Market along with his driver recently but the kidnappers freed the driver after torturing and depriving him of cash, passport and his cellphone.

The incident took place on October 22 and sent ripples through interior ministry and other law enforcement agencies who launched a hunt for the kidnappers who disappeared after dropping the driver at Petrol Filling Station near Rawat.—Staff Reporter
