LAHORE, Oct 23: The Anti-Narcotics Force has taken three officials of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and a passenger into custody on charges of smuggling heroin.

According to an Airport Security Force official, the ANF had arrested three CAA officials and a passenger a few days ago. The passenger was to smuggle heroin to a Gulf country.

The ASF official said the CAA officials had been taken into custody for extending a ‘protocol’ to the accused passenger. The investigation is under way.
