Dr Sher Afgan Niazi passes away in Mianwali

LAHORE: Former federal minister for parliamentary affairs Dr Sher Afgan Niazi passed away in Mianwali on Thursday, DawnNews reported.

Niazi was suffering from liver cancer for last six months.

He served as a federal minister for parliamentary affairs during former president General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf rule and was senior-vice president of his party, All Pakistan Muslim League (APML.)

However, due to differences within the party ranks he resigned from its membership last year.
