‘Soldier, three militants killed’

UPPER DIR, Sept 27: A soldier and three militants were killed when security forces repulsed a cross-border attack on Wednesday night, sources said.

The incident took place in Karakar area of Brawal tehsil near the Afghan border in the Upper Dir district.

Officials refused to speak on record about the clash and the casualties.

However, a few officials on condition of anonymity said the incident had taken place near the border. They said one soldier and three militants were killed in the clash.
