Enmity claims two lives

SWABI, Sept 19: A man and his mother were killed over an old enmity in the Kalu Khan area here on Wednesday.

Lodging FIR at the Kalu Khan police station, Uzman Begum, daughter of the deceased Perwar Begum, said that her mother and brother Hashim Dad were sitting inside their house when their rivals Saeed Khan, Tufail Khan and Barkat Khan entered the house and opened fire on them. Both were killed on the spot.

In another incident, a man going in an auto rickshaw was killed when unidentified assailants opened fire on him near Gulu Dheri. The victim, Habib Gul, was going home in Bamkhel. The attackers disappeared in the nearby maize fields.

Meanwhile, a 20-year-old man, Farhad, was run over by a passenger coach near Lalu Dheri bus stop. He was seriously injured and taken to the DHQ Hospital where he died.
