KARACHI, Sept 19: Pakistan Zardari has said that Mir Murtaza Bhutto was killed as part of a conspiracy against the then PPP government.

In a message issued on the 16 death anniversary of Mir Murtaza, Mr Zardari said the late leader had endured immense hardship during military dictatorship and rendered great sacrifices for democracy.

His services for democracy would always be remembered and those responsible for his murder would be brought to book, the president said.—Staff Reporter
