The Saifeena wedding has been creating a lot of buzz. Speculation is rife that D-Day will be around October 16 or 17. Both the Kapoor and Khan khandaans are excited for the couple.
Bebo's sis Karisma Kapoor told TOI while in the city recently, "The family is very excited and waiting for the moment when they will tie the knot." When asked about the wedding date, she added, "I have left it to them to decide their wedding date and then announce it officially. I think that will be the right thing to do."
Karisma made her comeback on the silver screen with Dangerous Ishhq, which unfortunately didn't do too well at the BO. The actress is unperturbed and maintains that for her family comes before anything else.
"I have a very strong bond with my kids — Samaira and Kiaan. They will always be my priority. That is why I took a long break and was not in the limelight for so many years," she said. And she admits that she didn't really miss the arc lights.
"Even though I wasn't working, I thoroughly enjoyed being away from all of it. Now that my kids are a little older and go to school, I get more time for myself now. But they will still be my life," she said, adding, "Which is why I am rushing back to Mumbai because I want to see them!"
The pretty actress also spoke about the city and her connection with it. "I have a sentimental connection with the city because my grandfather spent some of his moments here. So do my uncle and dad," she said. On the topic of family, we asked her about her cousin Armaan Jain. "With Saif launching him, it's all in the family. I am really excited and am rooting for him. We are looking forward to seeing his performance on screen," she said.
Manish Malhotra on Kareena's wedding dress
After Sharmila Tagore, Manish Malhotra has spilled the beans regarding Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's wedding. The fashion designer, who has confirmed that he is designing the actress' attire, says he will stick to the bride's simple, yet elegant taste.
Asked if he is designing Kareena's wedding dress, Manish confirmed it, saying: "That's right! You ask her the details. But yes, it's mid-October, everyone knows this now."
Kareena to be Kareena Kapoor Khan post marriage
Kareena Kapoor is sure her superstardom will remain intact even after marriage, no matter how many films she does or declines. Her reasoning for believing this is simple. Says Bebo, "Saif doesn't want me to change anything about myself, including my name, after marriage." Post marriage I will be Kareena Kapoor Khan. That means I have the privilege of having two of the most powerful surnames in Bollywood attached to my name."
Her eyes twinkling with mischief she adds, "My signature will have a triple K — KKK." It is a well-known fact that K is an alphabet that many in showbiz consider auspicious; especially Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor.
Kareena mum over wedding date, converting to Islam
Kareena Kapoor is reportedly tying the knot with Saif Ali Khan Oct 16, but the actress is not confirming it and has also refused to answer a question whether she would be converting to Islam after marriage.
However, Saif's mom, actress Sharmila Tagore has confirmed that the two are getting married Oct 16, according to media reports. But Kareena is tight-lipped about it.
"You all know everything, then why are you asking," Kareena said to reporters during the promotion of Heroine here Wednesday.
Asked why was she holding back her wedding date, she said that the "only thing is that we have not decided where it will be and when it will be. So, whenever we will decide, we shall talk."
