PRCS first aid training centres

ISLAMABAD Sept 7: The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has decided to establish well-equipped first aid training centres in at least 40 disaster prone districts in the next five years.

With the establishment of these training centres the capacity of PRCS in imparting first aid training will increase from 8,000 persons to over 25,000 persons annually.

This was stated by PRCS Secretary General Dr Mahboob Sardar on the occasion of World First Aid Day being celebrated globally with the Theme: “First Aid for the vulnerable people”.

Talking to mediapersons, he said the philosophy behind First Aid is to save lives, prevent physical disability and alleviate human suffering.
