NAWABSHAH, Aug 26: A young man was shot dead on Sunday allegedly by his brothers-in-law over a matrimonial dispute.

Ahmed Jan Brohi, 24, was shot dead by four gunmen when he was sitting in his pick up near Farooqi Plaza in Mohni Bazaar in Nawabshah. The body was taken to the PMC hospital where it was handed over to the relatives after an autopsy.

A-Section police station SHO Iqbal Wassan told reporters that the victim, who was a pick-up driver, had married a girl of his community about seven months ago. But the girl’s brotherswere annoyed with him.—Correspodent
