ATTOCK, Aug 11:  Three persons of a family including a proclaimed offender (PO) were shot dead and a woman was  seriously injured when their rivals attacked them in Jalwal village of Jand police station to settle a score.

Police said on Saturday that Mohammad Arshad, a PO in an attempted murder case, was present in his house with other family members when four rivals allegedly attacked his house late Friday night and escaped.

As a result, PO Arshad, his sister and son were killed on the spot, while his mother sustained serious injuries.—Correspondent
