KU conducts aptitude test for MBA
KARACHI, July 15: The University of Karachi on Sunday conducted the aptitude test for admission to MBA (banking) under its evening programme.
A KU spokesman said that around 600 candidates appeared in the test for 50 seats available in the discipline.
Admissions director Prof Dr Khalid Iraqi and Business School chairman Prof Dr Abdul Rehman Zaki monitored the process.
On a directive of KU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Qaiser, special security arrangements were made at the test venue.
BDS exam A KU statement issued on Sunday said that the BDS professional supplementary examination would begin on July 19.
It said that the papers would be conducted in the zoology department at 2pm.
LLB final exam The statement further said that the LLB final year examination would start on July 17 and the papers would be held from 2pm till 5pm.
The exam for male candidates would be held in the political science department and for female candidates in the geography department, it added.
Candidates have been advised to obtain the admit cards from their respective colleges.
Fuuast exams The Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (Fuuast) has announced that the LLB and LLM semester examinations will commence on July 21 at the institution’s Abdul Haq Campus. The papers would be conducted from 9am to 12noon.
A Fuuast statement issued on Sunday said that the exam schedule could be obtained from July 17.In a separate statement, the university has announced that Dr Mushtaq Kalota has been awarded the PhD degree on thesis titled The role of Islamic civilisation in fusion of cultures.
It said that Dr Kalota had completed his thesis under the supervision of Prof Dr Hafiz Salahuddin Sani Al-Azhari.—APP
