ISLAMABAD, June 20: The identification of the fourth body recovered from the debris of a house that caved in after a cylinder blast in Burma Town on Monday has become a headache for the police.
Mohammad Aslam Dar and his wife along with a passerby girl were killed in the incident. Later, the police also recovered human remains which, according to the children of the couple, were that of their relative, Ijaz Manzoor, who had come to see them that day.
But police preliminary investigation showed that Mr Dar’s friend identified as Ijaz Manzoor lived in Dubai.
The police said they were still trying to identify the body by getting details about the man living in Dubai.
The police said the remains were recovered from a portion of the single-storey house.
The mutilated parts in nine pieces were found lying within a distance of a few feet.
After the death of the couple, one of their relatives took all the six children to Bagh in Azad Kashmir.
Station House Officer Shahzad Town Inspector Khalid Masood said the couple had migrated to Bagh in Azad Kashmir from Indian-held Kashmir in 1993.
Later, the family moved to Islamabad where Mr Dar established a construction business.
