Remand of coach firing accused extended

NAWABSHAH, June 5: The Anti-Terrorism Court extended police remand of four accused in the Qazi Ahmed coach firing case for five days here on Tuesday.

Police produced accused Aijaz Pirzada, Ashraf Malokani, Niaz Leghari and Mukhtiar Leghari before court.

They were allowed to meet their family members on the premises of the court. Strict security arrangements were made to prevent any untoward incident.

Eight people were killed and over six were injured when unidentified armed men boarded the coach on National Highway Qazi Ahmed on May 25 and opened fire.
