KOHAT, May 20: One person was killed and another injured in a clash between two groups in Tappi area on Bannu road here on Sunday.

The police said that the two groups, namely Ghazanfar and Israr groups, who had an old enmity, came face to face and opened fire on each other.

As a result, one Israr was killed while a pedestrian, Abdul Qayyum, was injured.

The injured was shifted to KDA divisional headquarters hospital.

The Jarma police registered case and started investigation.
