Man killed; another robbed

ISLAMABAD, May 7: A motorcyclist was killed on road here on Monday.

The victim Amir Azim, 22, a resident of Khyaban-i-Sir Syed was heading towards Zero Point on Kashmir Highway but when he reached Peshawar Mor he met an accident and suffered multiple injures.

He was rushed to the hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

The cause of accident was yet to be established.

Meanwhile, robbers snatched Rs30,000 in cash from a man at Blue Area.

The police said Sikandar Ali withdrew the amount from a private bank but as he reached Kalsoom Plaza, three men riding a motorbike intercepted him.

They held him up at gunpoint, snatched the money and succeeded in escaping from the scene.
