TAXILA, May 1: The Hassanabdal police on Tuesday foiled a bid to smuggle huge quantity of liquor and recovered over 600 bottles.

Police sources said a police party headed by SI Javaid intercepted a Suzuki van and during search recovered over 600 bottles of liquor.

Police sources said that the liquor smuggler Shoaib Zulfiqar managed to escape.
