ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that the Pakistan Army should not return from Siachin unilaterally, the particular decision should be introduced on condition of withdrawal of Indian forces from the area.
He said that both the countries do not have enough resources to continue their fight at such a high altitude and to keep wasting human lives and resources. To a question PTI leader maintained the both the countries Pakistan and India should maintain their pre-1984 positions at Siachin and should call back their troops under the 1984 pact.
During the press conference Imran Khan also said that the ruling forces including Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) have made a deal and were waiting for the PTI tsunami to halt so that they may announce the date for polls.
The PTI chief Imran said that a corrupt elite was ruling over the country for their vested interests, adding that the Supreme Court was being pressurised so that corrupt rulers may be able to conceal their corruption.
Elaborating further he said that during the last four years corruption worth Rs 800bn was made and the expenditures of the country has been multiplied.
The rulers, Imran Khan said, were proving a major hurdle in the implementation of decisions made by the Supreme Court and now people have been forced to question the existence of an independent judiciary.
