"The Newsroom," which will premier on June 24 on HBO, is a look into the world of 24 hour news.
Played by Jeff Daniels, the show revolves around a veteran news anchor and his new executive producer played by Emily Mortimer as well as newsroom staff that will include actors such as Dev Patel, Alison Pill, John Gallagher Jr, Olivia Munn, and Thomas Sadoski
The series will tackle the trials an tribulations of adhering to the ideals of journalism in a time of increasing corporate obstacles, while the characters also juggle their personal lives.
