20 ‘outlaws’ held

ATTOCK, March 29: Attock district police have held 20 alleged outlaws including gamblers along with recovery of stake amount, narcotics and arms from their possession during checking at various areas.

Police said here on Thursday Bahtar Police held seven alleged gamblers and recovered stake amount of Rs12,210 besides four mobile phones from their possession in a surprise raid in a village near here.

Such as, the Pindigheb police arrested five persons in a raid in another village and recovered stake amount of Rs33,635 besides six mobile phones and six wrist watches from theirpossession.  The police also claimed to recover 915gm of hashish, two pistols and a dragger from eight outlaws in different strikes.

THEFT CASES:  Meanwhile some unknown persons lifted goats from the farm of a local farmer, Abdul Aziz, in Fatehjang.

Similarly, two electric motors were stolen from the tubewell of a local farmer Zahoor Hussain Shah in Hasher village. The respective police stations registered separate cases against theaccused. — Correspondent
