Van driver booked

ATTOCK, March 25: A van driver was booked by city police on Sunday for tearing the uniform of a traffic sub inspector (SI) during checking.  

SI Sarwar Khan in his complaint said that he was performing his duty near Sabzi Mandi when he signaled an over speeding van to stop but the driver sped away. However, on chasing he intercepted the vehicle.  At this, he said, the driver got infuriated and attacked him and tore his uniform.
