KARACHI: Unknown gunmen opened fire outside a literary event in Karachi.

The shooting occurred near Do Talwar in Clifton. No loss of life was reported. The literary event was organised by the MQM and had local and international poets participating.

Meanwhile, DawnNews quoted MQM leader Wasay Jalil who said that the situation was under control and the event has resumed.
