KARACHI, March 4: A young man was shot dead by unidentified gunmen within the remit of the Sohrab Goth police station near the Indus Plaza on Sunday, police said.

They said that the unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle targeted Rozi Khan and Sakhi Jan, who were sitting at a tea shop. The attackers fled after the firing.

The victims were taken to a nearby private hospital, where Rozi Khan was pronounced dead on arrival. Sakhi Jan was sent to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre after being given first aid.

No case was registered till the filing of this report.

Youth found shot dead in Lyari

The body of a young man was found in a Lyari area within the remit of the Baghdadi police station on Sunday, police said.The victim had been shot in the head, the police added.

The police shifted the body to the Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Following the legal formalities, the body was shifted to the Edhi morgue for want of identification.
