Firm owner held for Rs15m fraud

LAHORE, Jan 30: The National Accountability Bureau has arrested the owner of a private firm for allegedly committing a fraud of Rs15 million.

According to a spokesman, the bureau arrested on Monday Murtaza Masood, the owner of MMA Securities, on charges of cheating public at large.

He said the accused embezzled Rs15 million through a fake company not registered with the Lahore Stock Exchange.

He will be produced before court on Tuesday (today).
