Man kills father, uncle over money dispute

MANSEHRA, Dec 16: A man allegedly shot dead his father and an uncle and injured another uncle over a money dispute in Pakhwal area on Friday, police said.

The accused, Mohammad Akbar, an Afghan refugee, opened fire on his father Khud-ai Noor after the latter demanded his money back. While fleeing from the scene, the accused started firing to scare aw-ay other inmates of the house.

As a result, his two uncles Mohammad Haroon and Mohammad Khalid were critically injured. Haroon died on way to hospital.

The city police station after lodging FIR on the complaint of Abdul Khaliq started search for the accused.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Shaukat was killed and his friends Mohammad Nasir and Mubarak sustained injuries when the car they were traveling in fell into Kunhar River in Balakot. —Correspondent
