Two security guards killed

PESHAWAR, Oct 28: Two security guards were gunned down by unidentified assailants at the truck stand along the GT Road in limits of Paharipura police station on Friday evening.

A police source said they were identified as Khan Mohammad and Dilawar of Afghanistan, adding a pistol had been recovered from the bodies.

He said the bodies were shifted to a local mortuary for autopsy, adding the relatives of the victims had not yet contacted for receiving the bodies.

A case, he said, would be registered after nomination by their relatives in this regard.

In another case, a shell exploded in a scrap warehouse at Dir Colony, injuring two workers, who were shifted to Lady Ready Hospital.
