ANF arrests 108 foreigners

LAHORE, Oct 26: The Anti-Narcotics Force in association with the Federal Investigation Agency claimed on Wednesday to have arrested 108 foreigners, most of them Africans, involved in narcotics and other criminal acts in a crackdown.

Punjab ANF director general Brig Shahid Afzal told reporters at his office that four separate teams conducted raids in Makka Colony in Gulberg, Mozang, Township and others in the last two days and detained suspects, including eight women.

He said the visas of most of the arrested suspects were also found expired and they were extensively involved in narcotics and liquor business. — Staff Reporter
