PHC issues transfer orders of 126 judicial officers

PESHAWAR, Oct 22: In a major reshuffle, the Peshawar High Court on Saturday ordered transfers and postings of 126 judicial officers including district and sessions judge, additional district and sessions judges, senior civil judges and civil judges-cum-judicial magistrates.

According to the order released by PHC additional registrar, the Kohat district and sessions judge, Anwar Hussain, has been relieved to join his new assignment as judge of Anti-Terrorism Court at Kohat. He is replaced by Ms Irshad Qaiser, who has been serving as official on special duty at the high court after completion of her tenure as administrative judge of the accountability courts in Peshawar.

Twenty 25 additional district and sessions judges (ADSJs) including 10 recently promoted judges have also been transferred and posted at different places.

The transferred ADSJs include Mohammad Jamal, from Peshawar to Mardan, Sohail Sheraz Noor Sani, Mardan to Swat, Fakhr Zaman, Peshawar to Buner, Ms Muneera Abbassi, Peshawar to Swabi, Khalid Khan, from Peshawar to Chitral, Hafiz Naseem Akhter, Peshawar to Peshawar High Court Bannu Circuit Bench as additional registrar, Jehangir Khan, from Swabi to Peshawar, Mohammad Naseem from Swat to Swabi, Mamrez Khan Khalil, from Dir Lower to Swat, Syed Zamurad Shah from Dera Ismail Khan to Chitral, Mohammad Amin, from Kohat to Peshawar, Mohammad Iqbal Khan, from Karak to Swat, Wajid Ali, from Haripur to Mansehra, Ahmad Sultan Tareen, from Mansehra to Peshawar, and Liaqat Ali from Abbottabad to Mansehra.

The recently promoted ADSJs include Peshawar senior civil judge, Ms Sadia Arshid posted as ADSJ at Peshawar, Inamullah Wazir from Swabi to Peshawar, Malik Amjid Raheem, from Shangla to Peshawar, Abdul Baseer, from Dir Upper to Haripur, Abid Sarwar, from Bannu to Mansehra, Haq Nawaz, from Lakki Marwat to Peshawar, Ms Phool Bibi, from Haripur to Mardan, Mohsin Ali Turk, from Mansehra to Lakki Marwat, Kashif Nadeem, from Battagram to Peshawar, and Ajmal Khan Wazir, from Peshawar High Court to Peshawar.

Furthermore, 13 senior civil judges were transferred and posted by high court including Manzoor Qadir, from Buner to Kohistan, Abdul Hakeem Hashmi, from Kohistan to Battagram, Ziaur Rehman, from Nowshera to Peshawar, Ijaz Ahmad, from Karak to Haripur, Ms Sumbal Naseer, from Peshawar to Nowshera, Shah Waliullah Hamid Hashmi, from Malakand to Bannu, Irshad Ahmad Khan, from Dir Upper to Shangla, Wali Mohammad Khan, from Dir Upper to Buner, Ijaz Rashid, from D.I. Khan to Dir Upper, Asif Rasheed, from D.I. Khan to Karak, Ghulam Abbas, from Bannu to Lakki Marwat, Usman Bashir Khan, from Kohat to Mansehra, and Ms Faryal Zia Mufti, from Haripur to Swabi.

Similarly, 86 civil judges-cum-judicial magistrates have been transferred and posted at different stations.
