SUKKUR, Sept 10: Sadaruddin Mahar, son of a PML-Q leader, Nadir Khan Mahar, was shot dead on Friday night.

Unidentified gunmen attacked when he was sitting with his brother Badaruddin Mahar outside his house in the village of Tamachani, some 20km from Sukkur.

Sadaruddin succumbed to his injuries on way to the Civil Hospital of Sukkur. The body was taken to his village of Tamachani without a post-mortem.

No case was registered till filing of this report.
