PESHAWAR, Nov 8: The NWFP Governor Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah has stressed the importance of career-oriented education saying that the introduction of new subjects and the internationally-recognized patterns should also be encouraged.

The meeting, besides others, was attended by the provincial minister for education, Syed Imtiaz Hussain Gilani, secretary education Tariq Jamil, secretary finance Zia-ur-Rehman, vice chancellor of Peshawar University Syed Zulfiqar Gilani and others.
