LAHORE, Aug 28: Nawab Town police registered a case against a man after a youth was shot dead by unidentified people in Ali Town early on Sunday.

Police said Abid Zahid of Okara, who was temporarily staying at his aunt’s home in Ali Town, was apparently killed over a marriage dispute.

They said the victim’s uncle, Yousaf, who went missing after the incident, could be behind the killing. — Staff Reporter
