LAHORE, Aug 17: National Assembly Deputy Speaker Faisal Kareem Kundi has suggested that Dera Ismael Khan division should be made part of the proposed Seraiki province.

“A majority of DI Khan citizens will support the creation of Saraiki province in case of referendum on the issue,” Kundi said before leaving for India on Wednesday. He is heading a 20-member delegation of parliamentarians. He said all outstanding issues between the two countries should be resolved through dialogue.

Earlier, he met Evacuee Trust Property Board chairman Asif Hashmi at his residence.
