Court orders registration of FIR against CM’s aide

NAWABSHAH, Aug 17: The court on Thursday ordered police to register a murder case against Ismail Dahiri, special assistant to chief minister, and his two brothers.

Second Additional Session Judge of Nawabshah Ahmed Luqman Memon ordered the SHO, Doulatpur police station to book Ismail Dahiri, Ali Raza Dahiri and Ibrahim Dahiri in the murder case of Loung Dahiri.

He issued the order on an application filed by Ms Jamal Khatoon, mother of Loung Dahiri. She stated in the application that her son was murdered a few days ago when he went to get his salary. His body was shifted to Shahpur Jehanian Health Centre and police refused to register an FIR when the deceased's mother approached them.

Loung Dahiri, reportedly was killed in a police encounter as a bandit and an FIR pertaining to “encounter” was lodged on behalf of the state.

Ali Raza Dahiri denied his involvement in the murder case in a press conference on Tuesday. No murder FIR was lodged till late Wednesday night.
