LAHORE, Aug 15: A judicial magistrate on Monday granted bail to a New Zealand citizen, Paul George, who was arrested after his car hit two motorcyclists celebrating the Independence Day on the Main Boulevard Gulberg.

The duo had received serious injuries.

The magistrate directed the accused to deposit bail bonds of Rs50,000.

Ghalib Market police had arrested George when he was trying to escape the scene.
