China to launch communications satellite for Pakistan in coming days

 

BEIJING: All is set to put Pakistani's communication satellite into space in an appropriate time in coming days.

According to Xinhua news, a spokesman for the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China's Sichuan Province said Wednesday the satellite, the PAKSAT-1R, will be carried by a Long March-3B carrier rocket.

Both the satellite and rocket are currently in good condition, according to the spokesman.
