According to a press release issued here on Sunday, the postal employees would set up camps in front of GPOs in Sialkot city and cantonment, Daska, Bhopalwala, Begowala, Ugoki, Sambrial, Pasrur, Badiana, Chawinda, Shakargarh, Zafarwal, Baddumalhi and Narowal, where they would be on strike from 9am to 4pm.

CAMPAIGN: The Sialkot food department has decided to launch a drive against profiteers and black-marketers to control prices in Ramzan.

Talking to delegations of local businessmen in Daska, Assistant Food Controller Syed Sayyaf Ali Gillani said implementation of the prices fixed after consultation with traders would be ensured at every cost. He said the food department would make all-out efforts to ensure supply of daily use items on subsidised rates. — Correspondent
