WASHINGTON, July 26: Republicans in the House of Representatives have presented a foreign aid bill that restricts US taxpayer dollars to Pakistan if it should refuse to cooperate in the US effort against terrorist threats.

The legislation released on Tuesday also would ban giving federal money to international groups that perform abortions or provide abortion information, an effort to reverse Obama administration policy.

The overall bill totals $47.2 billion and is $3.6 billion less than President Barack Obama requested.—AP
