Probe into killing of Iranian man

QUETTA, July 17: Pakistani officials handed over the body of an Iranian citizen to Iranian authorities at the Taftan border post on Sunday.

The Iranian national, Abdul Jaleel, was kidnapped a few days ago from Quetta.

Later, his body was found by the roadside in Dalbandin area.

An official of the Levies Force confirmed the incident but said the reason for Mr Jaleel’s kidnapping and murder was yet to be ascertained.

An investigation into the case had been launched, he added.
